Girls on the Run

The full price of Girls on the Run is $225. This amount covers the full cost of putting on the program: site fees, coach supplies, training, recruitment, t-shirts, girl packs, insurance, background checks, administrative costs, etc. It also enables us to run a sustainable organization and to offer financial aid to those who otherwise could not afford to attend, which is critical for our mission to never turn away a girl because of her family’s inability to pay.

We also offer Payment Plans for families able to pay the full registration fee ($225), just in two payments.  If you would like to take advantage of the payment plan option, click the “Next” button to move to the checkout page to select a payment plan. (Payment plans are not available for families choosing a reduced rate.)  You will be charged $126 the day of registration and $99 the week of September 2nd.

For those who cannot afford the full cost, our sliding scale is based on the honor system, as outlined below.

• If the full cost of the program is uncomfortable, you may pay $95. This pays for our program costs. 
• If the full cost and the $95 rate are uncomfortable, you may pay $35. This pays for our hard costs to provide lap counters, shirts, journals, medals, etc. 

Building confidence and setting young girls down the path of a healthy lifestyle is PRICELESS! However, there are real costs associated with operating a non-profit organization and delivering the Girls on the Run program to approximately 500 girls in the Reno/Tahoe area each year. Registration is $225 per girl and includes:

• 20 ninety-minute sessions conducted by certified GOTR volunteer coaches.
• Curriculum and lesson materials 
• A healthy snack at each session
• Official GOTR T-shirt and water bottle
• 5K Registration fee
• 5K Medal
• Post 5K celebration
