Panty Drop partners with Girls on the Run-Sierras through Giving Program.

Through their partnership with Girls on the Run-Sierras, and the Pledge 1% program, Panty Drop stays dedicated to closing the gender leadership gap. The Pledge 1% program, which encourages companies to pledge 1% of revenue, 1% of employee time, and 1% of product to promote mindfulness in -and out-of the workplace. Panty Drop’s core beliefs align with Girls on the Run-Sierras through their work inspiring limitless potential, while staying true to who you really are.

8 Things You Should Know When Preparing for Your First 5K

Running your first 5K can be an intimidating goal for girls and adults alike. Each year, thousands of Girls on the Run participants cross the finish line of their first 5K event. Along with the girls who are completing their first 5K, many of the running buddies who are with them are also accomplishing their goal of running a 5K! Will this be the year that you run your 5K?

Luna Fest is Coming to Tahoe City on March 9

Girls on the Run- Sierras kicks off its fall program with its signature fundraiser - LUNAfest. Taking place at the Tahoe Art Haus (475 N. Lake Blvd, Tahoe City) on Thursday, March 9, the short film festival will connect women, their stories and values through the art of film.

GOTR-Sierras awarded 100% Board Giving Award

Girls on the Run-Sierras is honored to be recognized as one of 93 local nonprofits to be awarded the 100% Board Giving Award in 2016.  This award, presented by the Community Foundation of Western Nevada, recognizes the generous leadership and exemplary commitment the board members of the awardees provide. We are delighted to be listed among such other great nonprofits in our area and that our Board of Directors for their guidance and support of Girls on the Run.
