Volunteer

Girls on the Run-Sierras is a non-profit organization that relies on the energy and dedication of volunteers. GOTR-S is currently accepting volunteer applications board members, Coaches, and Site Liaisons for our Fall Season starting September 9th in Reno.

  • Site Liaison - Facilitates site application and program registration, liaison between GOTRS and parents
  • Head Coach - Leads a team of coaches to ensure facilitation of curriculum and attends 5k (Female, 21+)
  • Assistant Coach- Works with a team of coaches to ensure facilitation of curriculum and attends 5k (18+)
  • Running Buddy - Runs with a girl who does not have an adult chaperon at the GOTR 5K (18+).
  • Event  Volunteer - Provides day of support for 5K or film festival event.
  • Board Member - Support the organization's mission through governance and fiscal oversight. (Reno and South Lake Tahoe parents and community members are encouraged to apply)
  • Committee Member- Our committees support the organization in achieving its financial and program goals: Board Governance, Community Partnerships, Finance, Fund Development, Marketing, and Special Events.
